Evening Class Teachers

Aud Aasbo was born in Norway. She studied ballet at the Opera Ballet School in Oslo, before continuing her dance training at Laban Centre London. After graduating Aud worked as a freelance dancer for various companies and choreographers including Bedlam Dance Company, Jodie Falk, Athina Vahla and director Alasdair Middleton. In 1999, Aud trained as a Pilates Instructor and currently teaches at Triyoga, in London, where she co-manages the studio. She is also a certified instructor of Gyrotonic®, which she teaches at Natureworks. Alongside her teaching, Aud has continued her choreographic and creative explorations informed by Skinner Releasing Technique, of which she is a certified teacher. 


Gaby Agis is one of the pioneers of collaborative performance in Britain, working with leading artists of her generation from other disciplines in galleries, museums and theatres. Among her recent work is Explicit Faith that played to sell-out houses in July 2004 at LSO St. Luke’s creating a “new venue on the dance map” (Time Out) and Touch Un-Sited, which was performed as part of the celebrations for Architecture Week 2005. Gaby is a recipient of numerous public awards and has taught Skinner Releasing Technique at the Introductory and Ongoing levels extensively in Britain, Europe and America.


Joe Moran is a London-based dance artist. He creates dance and video works that are presented in theatres, galleries and public spaces across the UK; most recently All Clear! Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, October 2008 and Ending, Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry, June 2008. As a dancer, Joe has worked with a number of distinguished choreographers including Gaby Agis (company member 2001-2005), Siobhan Davies (Bank project), Christopher House (Toronto Dance Theatre) and Stephanie Skura (improvisation project). He trained in dance and choreography at studios in London, New York and San Francisco, and at the University of Washington, following his training in theatre at Bristol University. Joe is a certified teacher of Skinner Releasing Technique, a visiting lecturer in dance and performance at a number of universities, and teaches independently at studios in London and internationally.


Florence Peake is an interdisciplinary dance artist whose work has been performed internationally, including Paper Portraits (National Portrait Gallery), The Bird Trilogy (Prague Festival), Eight Moments Wake Me (London; San Francisco) and Ghost Dress (New York). As a performer Florence has worked with a variety of choreographers, filmmakers and performance artists including Gaby Agis, Jane Turner, Gary Stevens and Miranda Pennell. Florence is a certified SRT teacher and has taught dance at Independent Dance, DanceXchange, Dance Mission San Francisco, Academy for Cultural Studies in Latvia, International Workshop Festival, Laban, Middlesex University and The Circus Space.
